News on The Worthing Big Listen

It's been a brilliant summer. We've met you at over 14 events and shared and created and a digital survey for you to contribute to too. With over 300 respondents and conversations, we've learned so much about how we can improve how we listen and learn from you.

Generally speaking, people love Worthing!

You said it feels safe and secure, and family oriented. The town feels welcoming and while many reacted that it has changed, there’s an acknowledgement that “Worthing is on the up”. We all love the seafront and our green spaces.

This was a trial - it has helped us think critically about how we can communicate more effectively together. We're now making sense of all we've heard as we work with teams in the council to share our learning.

While we're closing this phase, Big Listen will continue and we're looking forward to more listening and sharing soon.
